Invite List / Attendees
The Heartland Chapter is spreading the word far and wide to it's members, local farmers, students, and vendors. Invitees include over 20 UAS platform and sensor companies, numerous universities throughout the region and 100's of UAS professionals. Events like this one have seen attendance of 500+. Given this is our first event, we are anticipating a slightly smaller crowd but we are hopeful given the time of year we will have very strong attendance.
Our morning keynote speakers are Tim Ray and Brittany Deunsing from Pravia, LLC. They will speak about obtaining and leveraging a 333 exemption for agricultural purposes.
Our lunch keynote speaker is Dr. Stewart Moorehead of John Deere Robotics. He will speak about "Farming in 2025 - How Unmanned Systems will Affect Agriculture".
Other speakers will include:
AUVSI leadership and members
Leaders in UAS and agriculture research
Experts in robotics, legal issues and UAS insurance
If you are interested in speaking, review the 'Speaker' section of the event web site and send us your ideas.
